Kayak Paddles
For sea kayakers we carry a selection of paddles from Aquabound Paddles, Carlisle Paddles, and Werner Paddles. Do your joints a favor by selecting Aquabound's reasonably priced, lightweight, fiberglass shaft/Abx resin blade Sting Ray paddle. Or be amazed at the ultralight Sting Ray carbon shaft Carbon ABX shaft, with Aquabound’s TLC adjustable feathering system. Need a non-standard blade shape, left handed feathering, 1 or 4 piece, or whitewater paddle ? Aquabound makes it – and we can get it.
We are now authorized dealers for Werner Paddles. Werner offers a wide selection of paddle blade shapes, paddle materials and shaft options to allow customization of the paddle to your needs. Need a low angle blade, small diameter shaft, bent shaft kayak paddle ? We can get one for you through Werner. And if you just need a regular paddle - we can get those too. Most Werner paddles come standard with the Adjustable Ferrule System allowing easy fine tuning of paddle blade feathering.
Not to leave out the whitewater paddlers - we can get kayak paddles for you too.
Personal Flotation Devices - PFDs
Have a safe adventure by taking your PFD with you when you go on the water (and satisfy Transport Canada requirements). Get a comfortable PFD for your activity, and then you will be wearing it when you actually need it. We carry a selection of PFDs suitable for canoeing, kayaking, and sailing from Salus Marine, Stohlquist, and Extrasport. We can also bring in Mustang Survival flotation products for those with specific needs.
Looking for a comfortable PFD for your kids ? We carry children's PFD's from Nautilus and Extrasport, and for infants - the Bijoux Baby Vest from Salus.
And if your water outing includes your dog don't forget a PFD for them. We carry dog PFDs as well !
The biggest disappointment after a day on the water is discovering that your food or equipment is wet. Wet food may be a minor issue, but a wet cell phone or wet clothing and sleeping gear can be a hazard. Don’t let this happen to you. Keep your short and long trips enjoyable and safe by investing in dry bags, barrels, and cases.
From Seal Line we carry a selection of dry bags including their Lightweight Storm Sacks, sturdy Baja bags, convenient See Bags, compressible Kodiak bags with the one way purge valve, Widemouth Duffels, Boundary Packs, and Pro Packs in size ranging from 2.5 liter to 115 liter. From Sea to Summit we carry a selection of their Lightweight and ultralight Dry Sacks, beefy Big River Dry Sacks, and Pack Liners.
From Eureka we carry 30l and 60l watertight barrels and harnesses. A barrel can be a convenient way to store your stuff since it doesn't collapse around you as you dig stuff out. It also provides some protection against crushing that you won't get from a dry bag - great when you are packing bread along. These barrels are not bear proof though, so don't leave them out in bear country.
Pelican Products makes cases that protect your electronic and optical equipment from the elements and any abuse you might supply. They are built to meet military standards. O rings in the case lid, and a pressure equalization valve keep work to keep the contents dry. Pick n pluck foam padding keep the contents securely in place. And for less serious applications - if you can’t leave the music at home they even supply cases for your MP3 player, so you can listen as you paddle.
Clothing specific for your water based adventure is here at Eb’s. Gloves and Pogies will keep your hands comfortable on the paddle or while under sail. Dry tops and spray tops will keep the spray off you while you cruise. Wetsuits and or drysuits are recommended if the chances of immersion are high. Neoprene hoods and socks will further insulate the cold water paddler. We also stock neoprene boots and sailing boots for additional foot protection.

Kayak Skirts and Cockpit Covers
Paddling your kayak without a skirt is enjoyable when the weather is warm and calm. As soon as conditions turn cool or windy, you’ll find that a spray skirt is an indispensable piece of equipment. It keeps those paddle drips out of the boat and off your legs to keep you warmer on those cool days, and it keeps the waves out of your cockpit on the more exciting days. If you expect to be paddling in those conditions (and they are inevitable for any longer trip even in Saskatchewan summers), then you need a skirt. At Eb’s, we carry a selection of nylon and neoprene skirts and cockpit covers from Seals and Brooks. We stock skirts to fit most boats we sell, and can access sizes for the odd boat we don’t sell.
