About Us

Eb's Source For Adventure, located at 1640 Saskatchwewan Ave, is Saskatoon's destination for the outdoor enthusiast. Eb started the business in 1973 because of his passion for sailing and cross country skiing. The store has gone through a few name changes to reflect our direction, originally called Eb’s Boat and Ski Shop to Eb’s Sailcraft & Cross Country Skis to Eb’s Sail & Sports. In the fall of 2006 the name changed to Eb’s Source for Adventure. Today James and Kevin have expanded the product selection to also include canoes, kayaks, snowshoes, camping equipment, and any gear needed to go along with these activities.

The managment and staff at  Ebs Source For Adventure are enthusiastic and active participants for the sports we sell to. From sailing to canoeing to kayaking to cross country skiing and snowshoeing, we have the people who have been there and can answer your questions. We have the experience to outfit you with the appropriate equipment and accessories, and point you to the right locations in Saskatchewan (and beyond) for your adventures. This year we ordered in more kid sized product, so your favorite people can come with you on your adventures. With skis, snowshoes, gloves, mitts, socks, all in one corner so its easy to find, we've got more selection than ever to keep them warm and happy on the trail.

Treat yourself to the ultimate glide and bring in your skis for the Hot Box treatment. This device gently warms the ski base to allow glide wax to achieve deep penetration. Top it off with a Race Wax and you'll be amazed with the glide. Need kick wax on your classics that can go the distance ? We offer the Grip Zone Prep  - where we mark your kick zone, sand that area and iron in a durable base binder wax. Great for those loppeteers or those who put in the long hard miles.

If you are prone to cold feet and want to boost the warmth of your existing foorwear, try the THERM-IC heated insole system.We carry the THERM-IC SmartPack Set ic 950 - which includes 2 Thermic Sole Classic insoles, 2 ultralight lithium-ion rechargeable ic 950 battery packs, and a recharger. These battery powered heated insoles have 3 heat settings with impulse control to stimulate blood circulation. Exped Sleeping mats are the ultimate in comfort and compactness.  Down or Synthetic fill result in a mat thats much lighter and compact than a comparable foam filled self inflating mat.
